Spun Cotton Vintage-Inspired Easter Bunny

Using vintage paper mache Easter rabbits as my inspiration, I have created a spun cotton easter bunny complete with a basket on his back and under his paw. He carries a basket load of vintage flowers and two spun cotton Easter eggs, while the little vintage basket in his paw holds three tiny spun cotton carrots I made. He needs his sustenance while delivering flower and eggs!

He is a all handmade of spun cotton and I use Victorian techniques. I have added glass eyes for that authentic vintage look. He wears a silk ribbon bow and sits upright. I also made the basket on his back and the two spun cotton eggs trimmed in gold Dresden inside. He stands about 5-1/2" tall.

All is handmade by me and comes from a smoke-free studio. I retain all copyrights to my images.
