Standing Rabbit with Basket on Back All Spun Cotton

Inspired by vintage rabbits carrying baskets of eggs, I created this spun cotton rabbit standing ready to deliver an Easter basket. He is made using techniques from Victorian times and has glass eyes. The little basket is made of real dried grasses and holds vintage flowers and two spun cotton eggs trimmed in gold Dresden. The basket is attached to his back and cannot be removed. He wears a gold silk ribbon around his neck.
All is handmade by me and comes from a smoke-free studio. I retain all copyrights to my images.
