Mermaid Ornament Spun Cotton Victorian Art

Add a bit of magic from the sea with this one of a kind mermaid ornament! She is made of spun cotton over a wire armature, and crafted like the days of old. I've added lots of embellishments to provide Victorian charm. Each one is unique!

She has a Victorian Era reproduction paper scrap face and vintage crepe paper bra, which is trimmed in gold dresden. Her crown is made of vintage iridescent beads and backed with vintage tinsel. She holds a stem of vintage iridescent millenary "coral." Gold elastic twine forms the loop for a perfect display with your antiques. Vintage crinkle wire creates the shimmer of her tail scales. She has been painted and stained for a truly bygone look.

She measures about 6” tall, not counting the loop for hanging. A beautiful way to add your love of the sea to your Christmas decor!
