Copy of Halloween Ride Spun Cotton Veggie Head and Black Cat

Using images of old Victorian postcards as inspiration, I created a mischievous veggie head riding a spun cotton black cat. The whole piece is all handmade by me and I have used lots of vintage embellments. Mr. Veggie Head wears a collar from vintage leaves. His feet are made from vintage fabric to look like leaves. He carries a handmade basket on his back with a tiny spun cotton turnip inside! He's not too happy either because he has no idea what is in store? Soup? The tiny turnip has vintage crepe paper arms and legs and sits in a basket of wood straw. The black cat wears a collar of vintage crepe paper and an aged silk bow with a tiny bell. The pumpkin man is firmly attached to the cat. The piece measures 8" tall and 8-1/4" long.

All is handmade by me and comes from a smoke-free studio. I retain all copyrights to my images.
