Spun Cotton Snow Girl on Christmas Wish Ornament

A sweet snow girl swings on the branches of your Christmas tree wishing everyone a happy Christmas. A banner reads, "Christmas Wish," across the silver glass glittered globe. She is made of spun cotton over a wire armature, and crafted like the days of old. She is wrapped in a warm vintage rabbit fur cape and wears a vintage cream-colored crepe paper skirt with a silk ribbon belt. She is dusted with sparkly snow! I've added lots of embellishments to provide Victorian charm.

The girl's face is a repro image from my Victorian scrap collection. The trim on her collar, hat, cuffs, and ankles is vintage cotton, and she wears tiny gold dresden medallions down the front of her coat. A bit of silver lametta with a gold dresden star adorns the arched wire ornament. The keepsake ornament measures 6-1/2" tall by 3" wide.

All is handmade by me and comes from a smoke-free studio.
